Question

Sum a Variable

Rating8.2Very Good

I have a subreport with dates and numbers

eg

4/30/06 - 200
5/31/06 - 400
6/30/06 - 500

I have a date Variable for the main report.
So if my main report date = 5/31/06 , just include 5/31 and 6/30 data from the sub report

I am crouping the subreport by date
I then need to pass the total of   5/31 and 6/30 from the sub report (in this case 900)
back to the main report

I cant sum that Variable, so it just gives me the number for the last date eg 500
